You start up with clean, dry hair and apply some amount of texturing spray to your hair concentrating mainly on the roots. Then you move in with getting waves either using a large barrel iron or any method of no-heat curling. If you’re using a flat iron, you will have to apply some amount of heat-protecting product to the hair not to damage it. And do remember to style the hair with an iron leaving it for a shorter period; otherwise you’ll get curls instead of waves.

When your hair is ready you need to separate it into three equal sections making sure that the first and second sections fall just behind the ears and the third one goes to the back. The last section needs to be braided into a loose fishtail braid. The end of it needs to be secured with a clear elastic band. And if you didn’t get it loose enough, you can work with fingers to loosen it up a little bit. The same process needs to be done with both side sections.

To hide the end of the braid and to make it appear shorter, you need to fold the end of it and pull it towards your head. Then you can clip the hair with the help of large bobby pins, trying to make it look natural. In a similar manner you need to repeat the process with the rest of the sections.

You can finalize your look pulling down some hair to fall around the face. This will add elegance to the look. And if you are seeking a way to make your appearance fancier, you can use a signature necklace or put some flower in your hair. Your Great Gatsby inspired hairstyle is sure to stir up everyone’s admiration!
