We’ve got the angels fluttering in for an H&M shoot! As the sun begins to blaze more brightly and the thought of the open seas stirs our thoughts, we cannot help but imagine ourselves with our toes in the sand and the breeze whipping against our bodies. We are getting ready to enjoy all that is perfect in the summer season and what better brand to turn to for a more affordable manner of doing so than to H&M, particularly since we see some of Victoria’s Secret Angels hanging about in the photoshoot. The Swedish multi-national company has tapped into such models as Adriana Lima, Doutzen Kroes, Natasha Poly and Joan Smalls for the H&M summer 2015 swimsuit campaign and it’s a grand hit! The supermodels have banded together and are posing not as angels this time around but as ladies on motorcycles, Jeeps, planes and boats in order to travel to Antigua, frolicking together in the waves. They embody the Charlie’s Angels mindset in the promotional video for the brand. Add in tiny swimsuits, bohemian cover-ups and the tunes from Swedish musical duo Axwell and Ingrosso, we are in for quite the treat!
The bikinis modelled are without a doubt some of the most affordable ever. Adriana Lima, with her stunning body and washboard abs looks pretty incredible showing off the single shoulder ruffled bikini top that goes for about 8 GBP. The video shows off Joan smalls striking a pose before getting her mysterious alert on her phone, Natasha travels on her motorcycle, Adriana Lima is snorkelling in the crystal waters, Doutzen stretching in a yoga class, and then it is action time! The best part is that the supermodels all showcase a series of two-pieces, string bikinis, sundresses, caftans, bohemian cover-ups and dramatic jewellery from the Swedish retailer throughout the clip. The white caftans and sundresses really looked amazing with the seaside background and the water lapping around the legs of the four friendly angels. They truly looked ethereal.
“This collection is everything I love about summer – bikinis for long days at the beach, romantic prints on flowing dresses for endless nights with friends,” Pernilla Wohlfahrt, head of design at H&M, said in a statement presented by the Daily Mail. The accessories were also shown off with gusto as the girls were decked out and embracing on the set.
The girls get to look bohemian chic as well, wearing gladiator sandals, showing off legs through high side slits, looking incredible with those printed dresses and the bikini tops that march those skirts. The beach hair is spectacular, the tied belts perfect for cinching in the waists of the flowing dresses and the Hindu style tunic and trousers set looking really cool for an impromptu meeting on the beaches of Antigua. What better way to celebrate a victory in whatever mission the girls had been called to than to lounge under the sun feeling as close as sisters would, dressed in sheer clothing that screams comfort.
