Intimissimi Celebrates Femininity in Spring 2016 Campaign

Undisputed star of the year’s most romantic shopping event, lingerie is always a desirable (self-) present to give or receive, as one could easily choose among the many super sexy and delicately chic proposals depending on personal tastes and mood. Italian lingerie brand Intimissimi is always in the front line when it comes to Valentine’s Day, as the special event often coincides with the label’s unveiling of its seasonal SS campaign. For the Intimissimi spring 2016 lingerie campaign, the brand decided to fully celebrate the beauty of femininity through a series of delicate images, where lace, roses and Israeli model Shlomit Malka are the sole protagonists.

It is a lovely return to the shooting scene from Malka, who already posed for Intimissimi’s spring/summer 2015 campaign and is now one of the label’s top lingerie models (along with previous brand ambassadors Irina Shayk, Barbara Palvin, Bar Refaeli and Ana Beatriz Barros). Photographed by Russell James, who managed to capture Malka’s true colors, the Intimissimi spring 2015 campaign perfectly combines sexiness with sweetness, mixing sultry fabrics such as lace with intricate flowery embroideries and curve-hugging lines, which almost seem to magically caress the body.

To better enhance the figure, Intimissimi also opted for sleek adornments and bodysuits in bright white, which surely are the collection’s key pieces. Other proposals include a wide range of lace culottes (which not only are one of the most comfortable types of panties ever but can also be extremely sexy), bras with (or without) wide straps, balconette and push-up bras and even see-through thongs. The collection’s palette is almost entirely made of bold whites and light pastel blues, but those who are searching for total black classics could always count on Intimissimi’s most mysterious side, which leads the label to often design more conventionally sexy pieces of lingerie in black lace.

When it comes to the main looks Malka showcases, the young Israeli model sports solid-colored designs and a carefree fresh look, wearing au naturel makeup and tousled waves that remind us of how naturally beautiful she is. Discovered while she was serving as a soldier through her Facebook pictures, Malka managed to begin working for famous labels, such as L’Oreal Paris and Ralph Lauren while still in the army, until Intimissimi made her its brand ambassador. Given the fact that all those models who have been working with the Italian label play a big role in the fashion industry now, we can rightly expect new exciting collaborations and a good career evolvement from Malka, who has already appeared on the covers of International magazines, such as Glamour and Vogue Italy.
