Ever since we sampled the stunning lingerie creations designed by gorgeous English model and actress, and already lingerie designer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Marks & Spencer Autograph line, we have been so excited to see her second lingerie collection for the high-street British brand. The new season is going to be even more sensual and sophisticated, as the newest Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for Marks & Spencer Autograph lingerie spring/summer 2013 collection hints. The irresistible beauty goes ahead and designs a special lingerie collection for those sweethearts, who want to make their upcoming Valentine’s Day really memorable. “Say it with Roses” this Valentine’s Day, as the title of the new lingerie campaign whispers!
The newest Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for M&S Autograph lingerie spring/summer 2013 campaign was photographed in a cozy hotel in London, where the gorgeous model herself demonstrates her own designs. Looking utterly sexy and sophisticated, she dons those rose-printed lace camisoles, dressing gowns, bras and Brazilian knickers, silk long nightdresses and silk floral lace chiffon wrap dressing gowns and pink bra sets. Delicate rose prints, fine silk, lace and chiffon are the key ingredients of the new Rosie for M&S Autograph lingerie spring/summer 2013 collection.
The color palette of the new Rosie for M&S Autograph lingerie spring/summer 2013 collection doesn’t included strong, eye-popping tones. Instead, we can see delicate pinks, beige and golden touches. Rosie explains her color choice saying: “As this collection is launching so close to Valentine’s Day, it was more important than ever to make sure that all the new colours complemented all skintones. We decided upon a gorgeous palette of blush pinks and warm neutrals which every woman will love to wear.”
“Rosie and I put softness and romance at the very top of our creative agenda for this collection,” added Jenkinson. “Lingerie is a beautifully personal, intimate gift and so every attention to detail was designed with femininity in mind, using the finest fabrics such as sumptuous silks and French designed rose lace.”
Talking about her designing career with Fashion Telegraph, Rosie says: “There was definitely an element of surprise. It’s been exciting and… really fulfilling. Much more than I thought. I’ve always wanted to design – that’s actually why I got into modelling in the first place – but I love going up to the headquarters and being around Soozie Jenkinson [head of lingerie design at M&S] and learning, learning, learning.”
And, let’s agree that she manages to do this all really skillfully. And it’s clear that her modeling career and her knowledge in fashion are the key ingredients to her success. “That was what my expertise was,” she explains. “I know lingerie because I’ve worn it [professionally] for 10 years. I’ve learnt how women’s bodies work; I’ve learnt how my body works. I mean, if you’re not picking up something after 10 years, something is wrong.”
