The Cherry Blossom Girl for Etam Lingerie Collection 2012

Famous fashion blogger The Cherry Blossom Girl has designer her second collection for Etam, bringing romance, freshness, sexiness with an innocent touch. Inspired by Alix Bancourt’s favorite cinema heroines, the blogger’s second line for the French lingerie brand is composed of three themes – Gilda, Lux and Miranda, each one unique and mesmerizing in itself. From glamorous and vintage-inspired goodies to playfully printed and neutral options, the fashion blogger’s newest creations are all knockout sexy pieces and all deserve special attention.

‘Gilda’ is one of the themes of the newest The Cherry Blossom Girl for Etam Lingerie Collection 2012. The uber-sensual and sexual pieces featured in this theme are inspired by the eponymous 1946 movie, featuring gorgeous Rita Hayworth. In this department you will find dainty and sophisticated black lace and delicate, slightly sheer textures, capable of injecting a glamorous and chic touch into your look. “For this second collaboration with Etam lingerie, I wanted to design some pieces a little different from the usual romantic and powdery mood I’m used to. More womanly and sexier, but still in my universe,” Alix wrote on her blog.
The second theme of The Cherry Blossom Girl for Etam lingerie collection 2012 is called ‘Lux’ and it’s all about prints. This line draws inspiration from Kirsten Dunst’s character in ‘The Virgin Suicides’ which is Alix’s favorite film. Ethereal, soft, lovely and poetic are the best words to describe the ‘Lux’ line from The Cherry Blossom Girl. Think flirty knickers, bras and nightdresses featuring dazzling prints and delicate, girly ruffles.

Last but not least, the third line making up The Cherry Blossom Girl for Etam lingerie collection 2012 is called ‘Miranda’, inspired by Miranda, a beautiful girl in the 1975 movie ‘Picnic at Hanging Rock’. Here you can spot all neutral colors, which ooze out sophistication and glam allure. “I particularly like the 1900 atmosphere, the lights and neutral colors,” Alix wrote on her blog. The pieces in the ‘Miranda’ line are super comfortable, desirable and perfect to give a mega-boost to your lingerie collection. “I designed comfortable pieces, and chose a lovely silk blend, lace, tulle and grosgrain bows. I hope you’ll like it,” the blogger added.
