First Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015 Costume Revealed!

We’ve all seen paintings of angels, and know the beautiful elegance and subtle sensuality they are portrayed with. The first costume of the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2015 has been released, and it definitely lives up to its name. The Portrait of an Angel evokes feelings of lightness and really plays to the company’s staple theme.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show 2015 Costume

When the costume is truly revealed at the 2015 Victoria’s Secret show, we know we’re in for an extravagant celebration of the brand. The upcoming show will feature the 10 new Angels, so seeing how they work on the runway is enough to look forward to alone, but the lineup of world-famous performers is sure to set the fun, boisterous mood the brand creates for its shows. And since this year marks the company’s 20-year anniversary, all of the action will be right back in Victoria’s Secret’s home of New York.

We’ve known all of those details about the show, but now we’re getting a closer look at what to expect. The Portrait of an Angel is the first costume concept released, and if the rest of the looks are anything like this one, we know we’re in for a treat. The look has all of the glitz and glam a Victoria’s Secret standout costume should have, coming adorned with peacock feathers and fringed crystals, and completed with a choker necklace, creating a sultry, provocative ensemble for the daring woman who’s looking for that extra level of drama.

Just hearing what the ensemble is made with is music to our ears, and we’re sure the outcome will be elegant and luxe as it sweeps down the runway on one of the new VS Angels. And once the garment hits the catwalk I’m sure we’ll be able to see its appeal for the month of October, or for other times of the year as well, for that matter.

This costume isn’t for the faint of heart or the demure, since its coverage is exactly what you’d expect from a lingerie line’s costume. But it’s the first place you should turn if you’re looking for a costume for that risqué Halloween party with your girlfriends, or even for a night at home to spice things up in the bedroom.

The remaining costumes will be revealed over the course of this next week, and we’ll have to wait and see what other designs the lingerie brand comes up with. Each outfit’s reveal will act as a stepping stone, and maybe the slow unveiling will help relieve the suspense to see them created and on the Angels. There’s still two weeks left before the momentous runway show, however, and we’ll be waiting with anticipation for these costumes to come to life when they hit that catwalk.
