Continuing the range of myths about the food that has been “invented” especially for those, who are loyal followers of diet we come to turkey bacon, which is another wanna-be healthy ingredient that has quite a big popularity among many people keeping diets. If we look at the elements that are contained in the turkey meat we may notice that it’s leaner than pork, but the transformations meant to gift the turkey bacon with the taste of the pork bacon are quite numerous here as well. In fact, the consistency of salt and fats is sometimes even more in turkey than in pork because of such processing. In addition, it’s required to fry turkey bacon in oil, because otherwise it sticks to the pan. Thus this is the second disadvantage of using turkey instead of pork. Of course, everyone wants to eat fresh and healthy fruits all year round, and if you have a house in the countryside, it’s quite easy to realize that wish. Frozen fruit and vegetables are probably the most suitable choice in this case, since only the best products are picked for storing them frozen and the modern technologies of freezing allow preserving the greatest part of the useful elements and vitamins.
