After President Obama’s endorsement on same-sex marriages, showing off support for this campaign seems to become more and more stylish. One of the vivid proofs of this statement is the launch of the newest Bond No.9 scent, which was created in collaboration with I Love New York state agency. It’s an exciting unisex scent, the seventh collaboration between the brand and the agency, which promises to stand out with its sensual and sophisticated woody-spicy smell.
Bond No.9’s ‘I love New York for Marriage Equality’ perfume is enveloped inside a beautiful and easily recognizable bottle that perfectly captures the essence of the theme of the scent. A ‘bridal white’ tone is perfectly complemented by the rainbow colored heart, which has been acknowledged as the symbol of the cause. Below the ‘I love NY’ message, the date of ‘7.24.11’ is engraved, which is the day that Marriage Equality Act took effect in New York.
The scent is composed of the contemporary base notes of tantalizing mandarin, nutmeg, plum that are complemented by cinnamon bark notes for a bit of spiciness, and the heart of rose, jasmine and ginger and lily. Cashmere wood, sandalwood, amber base forest notes finish off this beautiful bouquet.
Bond No.9’s newest unisex fragrance is scheduled for July and will be available in two versions. The smaller, 50 ml version will retail for $105, while the 100 ml one will sell for $175. Both of the versions will go on sale at Bond No. 9 stores, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue.
