The legendary designer has also dedicated a portion of her website, Donna’s journal to explain the essence of the campaign: “I believe in the power of women. As nurturers, we have a unique ability to care and share and make the world a better place. Women Who Inspire are women who are making a difference. This website gives their inspiring messages an interactive forum, encouraging women everywhere to take action and get involved.”
The list of inspirational women of Donna Karan is pretty long and includes such names as Karolina Kurkova, Kara Walker, Demi Moore, Nicole Kidman, Christy Turlington Burns, Molly Anderson, Sabrina Buell, Liya Kebede, Donna Karan and many others. The faces of the campaign are Christy Turlington Burns, Liya Kebede and Karolina Kurkova, who are all involved in some foundations and organizations dealing with maternal and child health.
No wonder, the inner beauty is more powerful than the facial features and a person is beautiful according to her inner world. In the Donna Karan Women Who Inspire fragrance campaign, the ladies sport simplistic elegant makeup styles to put the focus on the inner beauty, rather than the appearance.
