Glossier Launches New Priming Moisturizer Rich

We just smelt a brand new winter makeup must-have and it’s the Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich, launched by Glossier a few hours ago and about to hit the stores and Glossier’s website in January 2017.

Without giving too much detail, Glossier took Instagram to announce and reveal a glamorously glossy sneak peek of the Glossier moisturizer, arousing the curiosity of thousands of followers (and ours too!).

Priced at $35, which makes it neither too expensive nor too affordable for a top-notch beauty product, Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer Rich is part of the brand’s new beauty philosophy, which focuses on a less-is-more sort of quality and must-have essentials that nurture our skins delicately and deeply.

Glossier’s “skincare, simplified” beauty motto is, in fact, richly embodied by its new Priming Moisturizer, with the label describing it as featuring “a luxuriously rich texture that melts into skin immediately without ever feeling greasy”. The new primer will be thus part of Glossier’s four not-so-basic skincare basics, which besides the primer include a cleanser, a tint and a balm.

“We’re resetting the beauty game, starting with the most important thing: a perfectly primed canvas. This is skincare as makeup—our Milky Jelly Cleanser, Priming Moisturizer, Balm Dotcom, and Perfecting Skin Tint, designed to work together to perfect (not conceal!) skin while requiring minimal effort on your end. All you need are your fingertips,” stated the label.

Moisturizing the skin should always be one of our daily beauty procedures, especially when it comes to wintertime and the colder days tend to quickly dry our skins out. Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer Rich will not only revitalize and hydrate your skin thanks to its ceramide-infused formula, but will also function as the perfect base from which you can start applying your makeup routine.

Meant to reduce redness, minimize the pores, create an even skin texture, protect us from UV rays and make the makeup last longer, Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer Rich is treating us to a paraben-, mineral oil- and fragrance-free formula too, which is good news indeed for those who love shopping around for A-list products that are also as natural as possible.

To create even more anticipation regarding its new product, Glossier revealed its new primer’s jar is meant to scientifically kill all the bacteria that are usually found in similar products, yet without damaging the product itself, or our skins whenever we apply the primer. Given the fact that Glossier’s previous priming moisturizer became an instant success and even won Vogue Teen’s 2015 Game Changers Award, we expect a similar success for this updated version, too!

You can keep up with Glossier Priming Moisturizer Rich’s updates also on IntoTheGloss.com and Glossier’s Instagram page.
