MAC x Taraji P. Henson Makeup Collection Coming In September

Whenever MAC Cosmetics collaborates with someone, the outcomes never disappoint makeup lovers. This time around, our beloved makeup brand has teamed up with actress and singer Taraji P. Henson for a makeup collection that is coming very, very soon! The MAC x Taraji P. Henson makeup line is, in fact, about to hit the stores in September 2016, with the products available online (at Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s) starting from September 6th, and in selected MAC stores from September 8th.

MAC x Taraji P. Henson Fall 2016 Makeup Collection

“Taraji P. Henson has won the world over with her fearless performances, powerhouse confidence and charismatic spark. We’re thrilled to announce she is joining forces with M·A·C for an upcoming collaboration! #MACTaraji, coming in September,” captioned MAC in an official press note.

The six-piece MAC x Taraji P. Henson fall 2016 makeup collection draws inspiration from Taraji P. Henson’s flawless complexion, sensual eyes and glow refinements, which could give anyone a top-notch glamorous makeover that is long-lasting and even kind of affordable.

The MAC x Taraji P. Henson makeup line consists of six essentials that come just in time for the autumnal season, winning our hearts with their reddish brown undertones and slightly shimmery beige sparkles. The capsule collection consists of two highlighters (Highlight the Truth Soft, which is a bronze coral color with golden shimmer, and Taraji Glow, which is a reddish brown shade) ($33 each), a nude matte lipstick dubbed Strip Me Down ($17), a highlight brush ($42), an eyeliner ($23), and a mascara ($23).

For those who follow Henson’s makeup looks on Instagram, a clear resemblance to what her favorite colors and products are is clearly visible in this collection, especially when it comes to the highlighters and lipstick. Henson, who loves au naturel makeup looks, created for us something fresh, natural and glam for our everyday look, with the products perfect to be applied alone or layered. You can create a full-face makeup look with these pieces or, if putting makeup on/contouring is not your thing, you can use just two products a day for a flawless look.

As for the highlight brush, we specifically recommend it if you are looking for a professional makeup brush to add to your beauty kit, as it boasts a great quality and grants a sublime precision.

In collaborating with one of the most renowned beauty brands, the globe-winning actress is following in the footsteps of many celebrities who have given their unique contribution to MAC so far, adding touches of their personality to every item they created. Among the latest much-appreciated partnerships with MAC are those with Ariana Grande, Ellie Goulding and Dita Von Teese.
