Marc Jacobs Debut Beauty Line 2013

It’s quite common in the fashion and beauty industry to expand and legendary fashion designer Marc Jacobs also decided to follow in the footsteps of his companions, such as Michal Kors, and release his own color cosmetics line. So the new Marc Jacobs Beauty collection 2013 is expected on August 9th already and it will be exclusively sold at Sephora stores in the U.S. and Canada, in collaboration with which the designer releases his beauty collection.

Marc Jacobs Debut Beauty Line 2013
Describing his debut cosmetics line, Marc Jacobs said: “We spent a lot of time developing materials and choosing the colors….the color palette tells a story and that story is based on a spirit. I chose different types of characters, such as an ingénue.”
So expect lots of bright and bold colors from the Marc Jacobs Beauty collection 2013, which will feature 122 products, from concealers and eyeliners to mini nail polishes, according to WWD. The black mascaras and eyeliners (“Blacquer”) were inspired by the designer’s black lacquered table, while the bright colors and luxurious finishes were hand-picked by Jacobs himself.
As Jacobs notes: “I don’t like natural, that’s a little lazy. But I think there is just a kind of honesty and an ease and an irreverence with this.”
Wait until August to be able to purchase some designer beauty products that will retail between $24 for a lip balm and $59 for a seven-color eye shadow palette.
