After the great success of the Dot by Marc Jacobs fragrance, the legendary designer comes up with a sister scent for it. Titled Honey, the new fragrance from Marc Jacobs resembles its predecessor not only in the bottle, but also the launch date, which is expected to be in August again. The Marc Jacobs Honey fragrance 2013 was developed by award-winning perfumer Annie Buzantian and perfume consultant Ann Gottlieb.
As the name of the fragrance already suggests, Honey by Marc Jacobs is a sweet scent, which is composed of the top notes of pear, fruity punch and juicy mandarin that are complemented with the heart accords of peach nectar, orange blossom and honeysuckle and the base notes of smooth woods, honey and golden vanilla.
The Honey by Marc Jacobs perfume comes captured inside a flirty bottle adorned with yellow and black stripes and two honey bees. The fragrance is scheduled for August 2013, just before the launch of Marc’s color cosmetics collection with Sephora, which will hit the beauty shelves in September. It’ll be distributed by Coty Prestige.
The Marc Jacobs Honey fragrance 2013 will be available in three sizes: 1 oz. ($50), 1.7 oz. ($71) and 3.4 oz. ($92). A 5-oz. body lotion ($45) and a 5-oz. shower gel ($40) will also come with the perfume.
