Yves Saint Laurent is giving out exclusive first looks at the upcoming YSL Street Art spring 2017 makeup collection and it is beautiful. The YSL Street Art spring 2017 makeup line will launch in the beginning of January for the U.S. at YSL Beauty, Nordstrom, Sephora, Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, with the actual launch date being released soon.
The packaging is different than expected both physically and aesthetically, but it is no less stunning and is clearly very heavily influenced by street art. As such the colors are vibrant and rich and the overall look of the collection is as interesting as the makeup looks that can be created with them.
YSL Couture Eyeshadow Palette Collector (€60.00) (Limited Edition)
The Keep an Eye on Me eye palette is brilliantly coordinated and designed in a graphic rectangular compact that will give you plenty of looks to create. The name of the palette is emblazoned street art style on the cover.
• Keep an Eye on Me – pale pink, pink, orange, purple, dark grey
YSL Face Palette Collector (€60.00) (Limited Edition)
The limited edition face palette is not only cleverly named, but also beautifully designed to meet the street art theme. The outside of the compact has the words emblazoned across the top.
• I Have a Blush on You – coral
YSL Eyeliner Artistic Duo (€26.00) (Limited Edition)
There will be a new YSL eyeliner color introduced that has not been revealed yet. We can only anticipate the new color coming out with the expectation that it will be as rich in hue and smooth as we can dream for an Yves Saint Laurent eyeliner. All makeup kits should have at least one eyeliner, (I have lost count of mine) and the Yves Saint Laurent Eyeliner Artistic Duo is a great two in one to have on hand.
• 08 Blanc Arty – white
• 09 Pink Graffiti – pink and black
• 10 Orange Graffiti – orange and black
YSL Baby Doll Kiss & Blush Duo Stick (€41.00)
The iconic YSL lip-gloss will be out in six color combinations designed to help you carve out and enhance your face or to create an ombre lip look.
• 01 From Marrakesh to Paris – bright coral and fuchsia
• 03 From Cute to Devilish – soft coral and warm orange
• 04 From Me to You – pale pink and pink
• 05 – neon pink and crimson
• 06 – pinkish nude and beige nude
• 07 From Mild to Spicy – cherry red and brown plum
YSL Gloss Volupte
The YSL Gloss Volupte options will increase, as the availability will now include two new colors in the signature container with the signature lip applicator and great formula. The way this gloss is designed will give you more shine without being sticky, but smooth and light.
• 211 Acrylic Pink – bright pink
• 212 Orange Granite – orange
YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Oil-in-Stick (€36.00)
Available in 4 new colors that are soft and light, the formula will yield the expected soft, smooth, rich color to lips with every swipe. Each of the colors is expected to stick around rather than being limited edition. The Rouge Volupte Shine lipstick is well known for being incredibly hydrating and comprised of 60% oils for a great shine that also conditions.
• 57 Rouge Spencer – warm red
• 58 Orange Tournon – orange
• 59 Fuchsia Jumpsuit – fuchsia
• 60 Rose Marceau – crimson
YSL La Lacque Couture (€28.00) (Limited Edition)
The three nail polish colors currently released are designed to be flattering and subtle and they are for the most part. The actual design of the bottles is beautiful, but that is expected of everything designed by and bearing the name of Yves Saint Laurent. The available colors are a blueish grey, a worn, burnished orange and a flat white. They feature the signature gold caps with the YSL logo stamped in, and see-through bottles that show off the nail polish inside.
• 80 Blanc Arty – white
• 81 Vandal Orange – muted orange
• 82 Asphalt Grey – deep grey
