Wedding day is special for women everywhere. It’s the time that you want to look perfect, since it’s your day, it’s about you; ever since you were a little girl you would dream about your special day, when you would feel like a real princess; a chic ball gown, fancy and elegant hairdo with a shiny tiara and of course a bridal veil hanging down gently over your face as you start your new life with the one you’re meant to be with. Every single detail is of utmost importance starting from the tip of your toes to the endings of your hair, and you make sure to do everything the way you want and like, because remember this day is all about you.

The wedding dress, the matching shoes are very essential, however, bridal lingerie has a leading importance in this case, so, don’t leave purchasing it to the last minute. Take your time and pay much attention to what you’ll be wearing underneath the dress. Make sure not to economize on bridal lingerie as it creates the right shape of your dress (we all know weddings can be very expensive and if you have a dilemma, it’s better to buy a cheaper dress, but expensive lingerie). For instance, if you are going to wear a strapless gown you’ll need a strapless bra or bustier to provide your bust with the necessary lift and shape. Don’t forget about panties; choose panties that will fit very close and will not show any lines: G-strings are a good way to go.
If you are conscious about your weight and you want to look slimmer, try some body slimmers or shapewear under your dress, but be aware that it might not be sexy or comfortable. However, if your dress has a full skirt, you won’t need to worry about that. Pay attention to the comfort, as you’ll be wearing it all day long.

Your wedding lingerie should be both beautiful and invisible, so try to match it to your dress. Don’t forget about pretty, lace stockings and delicate garter; they should also match; with the right size and colors you can create a beautiful set of lingerie for your wedding day.
As far as the first wedding night goes, you can put on whatever you want, like extra sexy, extra small lingerie. Anything will do, since you won’t be wearing the dress then, and won’t have to match it to your wedding gown (both the color or the shape). You can change in the bathroom and wear your special lingerie; it should be something that makes you both look and feel great.
