The New York Fashion Week has lost many big names recently, but Kanye West will most certainly keep Yeezy in the States. So far Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, Altuzarra and Thom Browne left the New York Fashion Week to show their collections in Europe. Among the brands who decided to stay faithful to Manhattan are Marc Jacobs, Rihanna’s Fenty x Puma, Tom Ford and Calvin Klein. All these brands will show their Spring 2018 Collections during the New York Fashion Week in September.
Details have yet to be confirmed, but sources say that Kanye West is negotiating with the CFDA to find a spot on the spring 2018 calendar for his sixth Adidas x Yeezy collection. Considering Kanye West’s initial decision from last year to show outside of the fashion week, we still can’t say anything for sure. The rapper turned designer caused major controversy last year when he scheduled his show in a time slot that belonged to Marchesa. The CFDA was very mad and Kanye had to move his show by two hours to avoid further conflict.
Kanye West’s shows have always been controversial. Additionally, they attract a lot of attention. If he decides to stay in town for the sixth Yeezy collection, the show will probably be one of the most anticipated shows on the New York Fashion Week. Kanye’s previous shows switched several different locations through the years. The show for Season 3 took place at the Madison Square Garden where the rapper also presented his album. The spectacle for Season 4 was held on Roosevelt Island, while the last show was an intimate experience at Pier 59 Studios. All Yeezy Shows have been high-profile events.
Kanye West has also shown his collections in the City of Lights. The rapper showed his debut collection under the Kanye West Label at the Lycée Henri IV in Paris in 2012. He also showed one more collection of his eponymous brand in Paris before Yeezy with Adidas was born.
So far, Kanye West, a representative of the brand and the CFDA refused to give any additional comments and confirm the information. Anyway, considering the fact that Kanye is in the talks with the CFDA, most certainly Yeezy will stay in New York.
Kanye West wants to make certain that people have plenty of options when it comes to wearing his brands. Now the famous rapper is debuting his own jewelry collection. The Yeezy jewelry collection was done in collaboration with Jacob Arabo, also widely known as Jacob the Jeweler, yielding 12 pieces that were clearly inspired by the Florentine art of the 14th century.
The reason for the source of inspiration, according to Kanye is simple. “I wanted to create something that represented timeless love,’ he explained.
Donatello’s bas-relief portraits are widely considered to be classically romantic. Each pendant and medallion is in this style, and we have known for years that this style has appealed to Kanye: one of his famous pendants from back in the day was a religious piece in the same style.
Anyone who saw the Yeezy Season 4 or Season 5 runway shows saw the pieces, as they were also worn during the presentation. Though not his first foray into accessories, this is Kanye’s first attempt at a jewelry collection.
Based on the success of his sneakers and other collections, this shouldn’t be a problem. Kanye has a pretty loyal fanbase who are quick to jump in and buy his merchandise, however, the price tag here may be an impediment. Each piece of jewelry will range in cost from $3000 to $12,000 putting the pieces firmly out of reach for many, even as a luxury purchase.
Kanye West’s Yeezy jewelry is for sale on the Yeezy online store currently. Unlike his sneakers, which sell out in a blink, these may take a bit longer to move out. The textured pieces certainly have the work put in, with the faces standing out in relief or shaped were necessary. Not only is he selling the pendants and medallions, but also rings as well as bracelets, and apparently more will be coming along the way in the future. The pieces are 18-karat yellow gold and worth every single penny.
Just to show the world that the pendants can be realistically styled and just because she wanted to, Kim K has been wearing the pendants as well, sometimes in layers, to events and just out and about. She has even worn them to the MTV Video Music Awards last year in August.
Though the man is clearly happy to be branching out ” stepping into areas he hasn’t before and clearly finding and meeting plenty of success, he doesn’t intend to stop, and he tells us this all the time. The pieces can be seen, modeled in black sand, and purchased on the yeezysupply.com website by reaching out to Jacob and Co, or Jacob the Jeweler to get their own Yeezy pendent.

For those who have been anxiously anticipating the Yeezy Calabasas collection from Kanye West will certainly be pleased to find out that items are being revealed and some are nearly available for purchase. If you have been waiting in anticipation, it is certainly understandable for the level of hype that some are expecting.
The constant teasing over the last few months by both Kanye West and Kim Kardashian in a clear effort to keep bait on the hook seems to have paid off. Several people are already excitedly warning others to check their social media for new images as soon as their new orders come in.
The Yeezy Calabasas collection includes hats and socks, track pants and sweat shirts and, of course, the new Adidas. The new Adidas, called the Powerphase sneaker, are if nothing else fresh, clean and classic. Everyone loves a good set of Adidas anyway, so this is no surprise.
The Yeezy Calabasas sweatshirt will come in black with grey lettering on the sleeves, white with black lettering on the sleeves or burgundy with red lettering on the sleeves. The lettering will spell Calabasas lest anyone makes the mistake of not realizing that your sweatshirt cost multiple hundreds of dollars.
The track pants will come in a matching pair for the burgundy and red and black and grey sweatshirts, with the other being blue with burgundy detailing. There is even a pin for those who like to add things to backpacks and jackets. The details are concise, leaning only into the Calabasas name and variations of the color schemes with a few sporty stripes.
The Yeezy Calabasas collection is easygoing in design and minimalist in options leading to questions about the delay. It is definitely homage to the past with the elastic, gathered ankles of the track pants and the same treatment to the hem of the sweatshirt and the wrists. Depending on your love for the old school Hip Hop, breakdancing and beatboxing aesthetic, this collection could hold more than just an ‘in now’ appeal for certain individuals.
The price point is consistent with the previous offerings Kanye has released, with the Calabasas sweatshirt alone clocking in at $200 retail. Just the sweatshirt, not the whole look! Though the collection could arguably be considered as unisex clothing, in the photos for Surface Mag both A$AP Nast and Ganna Bogdan, the pieces look more like a couple coordinated set of ensembles.
The Yeezy Calabasas collection is cobranded by Adidas and more details are available upon request (by signing up for news updates) via yeezyzuppy.com. The website itself is as minimalist as the designs so it will be interesting to see where things will go from here and if the promised kids line will be making an appearance soon as well.

One of this New York Fashion Week‘s most discussed shows has been finally unveiled at Pier 59 Studios, with music, models and videos taking the stage. Kanye West‘s Yeezy Season 5 fall/winter 2017-18 ready-to-wear collection was a mixture of all things Kanye West, with the outcomes being already more appreciated and positively reviewed than those of Yeezy Season 4.
After creating a bit of a buzz with the CDFA, Kanye West presented his (very likely) last Season with Yeezy in front of circa 300 guests, who didn’t get to see the actual models and ensembles until a few giant video projections ended (for the occasion, the Studios included four 20-feet-high screens).
Yeezy Season 5 was thus an all-round show, which celebrated both Yeezy and Adidas’ legacies, West’s footprint in music, as well as his upcoming future in the fashion industry. The Yeezy Season 5 fall/winter 2017-18 collection featured four different important moments, which all together worked to create something unique Kanye West does not want us to forget.
The first part, which reminded us of West’s first forays into the industry in terms of styles, was translated to fashion through a cozy array of denim designs that included both jackets and jeans, often paired together in workwear-inspired total looks. Here the figures and lines were rather baggy, often enhanced in their attitude by either contrasting sweaters in velvet, or pointy boots in beige.
When not showcasing his boots, West matched most of his garments with the highly anticipated Yeezy sneakers, which are also often regarded as the items around which the various Yeezy Seasons revolve. Dubbed “Yeezy Runner’, West’s brand new pair of sneakers was more athleisure-inspired than the previous ones, as it featured a weightier style that came in two colors, namely cyan and ivory (though more colors are very likely about to come, as usual).
The Yeezy Season 5 fall/winter 2017-18 collection also included other two main motifs, which all revolved around logos. After teasing us on Instagram for almost a year, Kanye West finally unveiled his Calabasas merch, which brought relaxed California vibes on stage. The Calabasas-branded staples included everything from oversized bombers to jackets, with all of the items including Los Angeles-inspired references, yet no official Calabasas logo (and we bet Kanye West will explain the choice in the days to come).
On the other hand, however, he did use Adidas’ logos on most of his garments, placing the sportswear label’s legacy at the center of the attention (probably as a way to thank the brand?). Adidas’ iconic three stripes, along with its logo, were featured on many hats, hoodies, track pants and t-shirts, creating an appealing contrast not only with the Calabasas logo-free items, but also with the collection’s denim first part.
Motifs aside, the Yeezy Season 5 fall 2017 collection was overall particularly winter-inspired, with all of the looks genuinely exuding coziness and warmness. With athleisure being the focal point of this latest collection of West’s, the tracksuits were the most numerous items, with the winter jackets, however, being of no less importance. There was even a long, furry coat and a sensual ultra-tight leather jumpsuit/dry suit that seemed to be specifically made for Kim Kardashian West.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West are known for their steps and missteps in fashion and now they are embarking on a few steps into kids’ clothing. The announcement was made on Kim’s Snapchat Tuesday evening. In the series of snaps, she showed off her favorite little model North West, in a little dress and coat set that will likely be in Kanye West and Kim Kardashian-West’s debut kids’ collection.
The sunshine yellow and pink sequin mock turtleneck dress and mini yellow Yeezy shearling hooded jacket were sporty with a set of black Vans and tube socks. The jacket is a mini version of the yellow shearling hoodie from the Yeezy Season 4 collection. The idea of a trendy little children’s collection is awesome, but it is suspected that the full extent of the collection will not be known for a while. No official released date has come out and no other pieces have been shown.
There have been hints for months thanks to Kim’s teasing about an upcoming project and statements that the line is coming soon. Though it is unlikely, the Yeezy Season 5 show has been confirmed for NYFW, so even if we do not see the rumored kids line we may see future pieces.
Since Kanye has already recently decided to create miniaturized versions of his Yeezy boots for kids, we may be seeing future children’s options in adult sizes. The Kardashians already have a Kardashian Kids line as well, so it is not outside of the realm of what they have already done.
Sure kids clothes are different, but they won’t have a far leap to make to land on firm ground with this new venture. According to Kim’s snaps, of course, they have already left the ground and are high in the air with their children’s fashion landing spot chosen.
Speculation abounds that the Kardashian-Wests will go with a high-end fashion line for children. Kim loves to emulate successful mom so perhaps she will pull a Kimora Lee and take to the runway with North and Saint to show off several options during NYFW at the Yeezy Season 5 show.
Unsurprisingly, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s children’s collection is suggested to have input from North herself, and judging by the outfits the world has seen her in, prints, colors and textures will definitely be included. Everyone has seen these options whether they want to or not as this family tends to show up in news even when no one is looking for them.
Advertising will not be a problem, that is for certain. Exposure will not be a problem, that is for certain. And finally a wide variety of options within the line will not be a problem ” this kids’ clothing line could be a lot of fun.

Yeezy Season 4 was presented on Wednesday as part of the first wave of New York Fashion Week shows. In a way, the showing was and wasn’t what we had expected from designer Kanye West. The show took place on Roosevelt Island, within the Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms Park. The event was kept especially exclusive; guests were given an address where a bus was waiting to chauffeur them to the show. Keeping things under wraps was an essential element for West, since the park was turned into his own personal, monochromatic art gallery.
The bus ride was the beginning of a tour-esque journey for the guests. Upon arriving at the island park, the first sight for guests would be the merchandise booth, where white and yellow long sleeve tees were being sold, sporting “Season 4.” This is a slight change from West’s past runway offerings, as he used to offer products like this tee for free to his guests. This time around, however, he was selling them at $75 a piece.
The Kardashian/Jenner sisters were, naturally, in attendance, despite the fact that they showed up an hour and 15 minutes late for the event. The siblings all wore pale outfits, likely with the intent of matching the theme of the show at hand. Other non-related celebrities that attended the Kanye West Yeezy Season 4 show were Pharrell Williams, Virgil Abloh, Spike Jonze, A-Trak, and Pusha T. He also was sure to invite some of the top editors, bloggers, and social media elites to the event.
The setup for the runway and its surrounding area was staged by West and Vanessa Beecroft, whom he has collaborated with for staging in the past. The overall gist of the runway was a white runway hosting models in looks from the collection, with a slew of models standing in place in the surrounding area sporting neutral and otherwise monochrome undergarments, shorts, and leotards. Through the casting and the “display” of models, West was pushing the idea of multiculturalism in the fashion industry and its place with his brand in particular.
The unique staging for the Yeezy Season 4 show, especially being staged outside, made for an interesting concept; with a bold move like this, it either works out really well or really horribly. Unfortunately for West and his models and guests, it was the latter in this case.
With everyone so far behind schedule (the 3 p.m. show not beginning until 4:30 p.m.), everyone was made to wait in the blistering heat. Models were sitting in the grass sipping water, trying to stay hydrated; yet, there were reports of models fainting in the heat.
Needless to say, the show finally began. Even still, two models did their best to walk the runway in broken heels. Men’s fashion director of Bergdorf Goodman Bruce Pask even jumped in to help one model finish the runway.
Above everything, however, the show went on and West’s line was displayed. Unsurprisingly, Kim K’s style was at the forefront of his style inspiration. With one of the world’s most looked-to style mavens as a wife, it would be a shame not to design with her in mind!
As such, the Kanye West Yeezy 4 spring 2017 collection was full of tight dresses with oversize coats, sporty pieces for in and out of the gym, and thigh-high boots, to boot. The collection is very much so a culmination of West as a designer and his design aesthetic as defined by his family and connections through the Kardashian/Jenner family.

Keeping up with the Kardashians/Jenners/Wests is harder than ever before, with all of their clothing and makeup lines, music and well, dramas. After the more recent news about the Jenners, today it is Kanye West‘s turn to hit the headlines, as he has been tapped along with Joan Smalls and other A-list models to front Balmain‘s fall 2016 ad campaign, once again.
Captured by Steven Klein and directed by Pascal Dangin, the Balmain fall/winter 2016 ad campaign features (as of now) only a couple of dramatic, almost theatrical pictures, unveiled by the French fashion house via Instagram. Well-balanced and almost multidimensional thanks to Steven Klein’s terrific skills when it comes to low-motion effects and lights, the images are surely destined to make history in the world of fashion photography.
West, who unlike his first campaign with Balmain is not posing along with his wife Kim Kardashian, is seen wearing the custom beaded-jacket he wore to this 2016 Met Gala, as well as a pair of heavily shredded jeans (which at this point could be regarded as his favorite staple). Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls, on the other hand, ethereally channels a pair of high-waisted billowy pants with ruffles, along with a matching, lightweight long-sleeved top.
Described by Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing on Instagram with the intriguing caption “music meets fashion’, the Balmain fall 2016 ad campaign transcends mere fashion, intertwining art and music together. While West represents music, Smalls is here to depict the power of fashion, and their poses figuratively embody the incredible interconnection and inspiring results such forms of art create when working together.
It is no secret that Olivier Rousteing is often carried away by music when designing and showcasing his collections, as proven most recently by his Balmain x H&M runway show, where he asked the Backstreet Boys to perform their best hits from the Nineties.
As for the campaign itself, creative director Pascal Dangin revealed more pictures are about to come, and many are already speculating about whether West is going to be featured in all of them or not. The pictures of Josephine Skriver, Sasha Luss and Dilone are equally solemn, dramatic and mystique, coming in the same black and white format and picturing some with teardrops in their eyes.
Although Olivier Rousteing is a close friend of the Kardashian/Jenner/West clan (the Jenner sisters posed as brand ambassadors for the Balmain fall 2015 campaign too), the fashion house has just released a couple of short videos for the campaign, and none of them features the rapper-turned-designer Kanye West.
Is Olivier Rousteing about to tap an iconic squad of A-list musicians and models? We guess we just have to stay tuned to get an answer! As of now, we continue discovering new A-list models join the #BalmainArmy for the fall campaign!
Update: Kim Kardashian West also features in the Balmain fall 2016 ad campaign along with Alessandra Ambrosio, Joan Smalls, and other Balmain girls.

Why unveil your new album and collection separately, when you can combine two of your biggest passions in just one show? We all know Kanye West likes to push the boat out, but probably very few of us expected him to present both his Yeezy Season 3 lineup and new album “The Life of Pablo’ during the first day of New York Fashion Week fall 2016. Many were, however, the wow factors from this Madison Square Garden-located fashion show, including a platinum blonde wig, Yeezy’s habitué Anna Wintour and the show’s biggest star, Kanye and Kim’s beloved daughter North West.
That said, of course, what’s currently breaking the Internet is Kim’s hair, which Keeping Up with the Kardashians star combined with a total white outfit. Also, besides the biggest names in the fashion world, the show was staged for 18,000 people, among which were Kanye West’s fans and famous artists, such as rapper Busta Rhymes, Kardashian and Jenner clubs’ members (all dressed up in white), Pusha T, Travi$, L’il Kim, 50 Cent, Asap Rocky and Melanie Griffith, who all together probably had a lot of fun at the after-show party. Caitlyn Jenner, who’s very shy when it comes to attending fashion shows, was there to support Kanye West too.
As for the rapper-tuned-fashion designer Kanye West, he wore what could be regarded as a normcore meets athleisure outfit, which was composed of a basic baseball cap, a red pullover and a pair of Yeezy pants (his look made a kind of interesting contrast with Kim’s pretty sumptuous outfit). Kanye’s graphic pullover had ‘I Feel Like Pablo’ written on it, and besides hoping that what Kim was wearing was a wig (because it isn’t just me, right?), the Internet is also wondering who Pablo is. Is Kanye referring to Picasso?
As for the Yeezy Season 3 fall 2016 collection, it was quite different from the previous two. It features a more variegated color palette (that of Season 1 and Season 2 was closer to the grays) and has a stronger street-style allure. It was, however, athleisure-infused like the previous line-ups. Blues, bold yellows and rusty oranges spice up the collection’s dark side, accentuating the silhouettes and the bodysuits’ curve-hugging forms. Aside from stretchy bodysuits, Yeezy Season 3 featured such key pieces as oversized dusters and coats and tea-length pencil dresses, which seem to be very dear to West’s beloved wife (and probably muse) Kim Kardashian. Crop-tops, hoodies and supper skinny leggings reinforce the athleisure leitmotif, enhancing the models’ toned bodies and barely-legal abs.
Although not being what could be regarded as a conventional concert, Kanye managed to delightfully combine the results of his new works together, keeping on with collaborating with Italian artist Vanessa Beecroft. Charged to choreograph the installation for West’s Yeezy Season 3, Beecroft set up a sort of refugee camp in the center of the floor, where most of the models and performers, incuding gorgeous Naomi Campbell, stood and sat during the catwalks. Such a choice is of course raising concern and questions, and West has yet to comment about the meaning behind the whole fashion show’s concept.
He did, however, let us know his future plans, which include becoming the creative director of one of the most famous and iconic fashion houses of the world. “My dream, I told Anna [Wintour], is to at least just for a couple of years be the creative director of Herm‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üs.’ Beware, Nad‚Äö√†√∂¬¨√Üge Vanhée- Cybulski!

We all remember when, less than a year ago, Kanye West was about to present his very first pair of Yeezy sneakers. Nobody would have ever expected such a huge success, and now everybody starts wondering what’s coming next from West’s mind. What we now know for sure is, however, that his latest pair of Yeezy sneakers, which was presented on December 19th, wasn’t the last one. Scheduled to drop globally today, on December 29th, the new Kanye West Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers get ‘tanned’, making the Yeezy craze start all over again before the calendar changes over.
Knowing that whenever a new hard-to-find pair of Yeezy sneakers comes out everybody starts panicking, Adidas briefly opened its Confirmed App on Tuesday 22nd, allowing its costumers to exclusively pre-order a pair of Yeezy sneakers in Los Angeles, Chicago or New York. Although closing only in under 10 minutes, with its handful of minutes the App made it possible for many enthusiasts to book their beloved pair of Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers in Oxford tan.
Besides being the fourth colorway of the 350 sneakers to be released this year, the Yeezy Boost 350 in Oxford tan already is a must-have part of the Yeezy family, which on the whole (or should we rather say at the moment?) includes three exclusive silhouettes that ride the wave of the athleisure trend. Like the Yeezy Boost 350 in black beforehand, this pair also comes in half sizes, meaning that it should be more comfortable and helpful for women to find their ideal sizes too (since all of Yeezy shoes come in men’s sizing). Sitting on a matching Boost sole unite, the Oxford Tan upper shoe seems to celebrate Kanye West’s success in the fashion industry.
It has indeed been the year of Kim Kardashian’s beloved husband, whose latest 365 days have so far met career accomplishments and personal milestones, as well as a new addition to his (human) family.
Already spotted at Corey Gamble and of course Kendall Jenner’s feet, the Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers in Oxford tan retail for $200 and, besides the Adidas Confirmed app and the many Adidas stores, can be found at other selected stores, such as Foot Locker and Footaction. Just remember to be quick and, in case everything sells out ahead of schedule, arm yourself with patience and money: all of Jeezy’s pairs of sneakers are usually spotted on e-bay for thousands of dollars!
