Karlie Kloss is so much more than just a pretty face. The long-legged gazelle has conquered every single runway you can think of. Kloss started modeling at the early age of 14, soon becoming a staple at many high-end fashion catwalks. The supermodel and her long-time love Josh Kushner announced their engagement in July this year and shared pictures from the surprising wedding just a few days ago. Josh and Karlie tied the knot in a small ceremony in upstate New York. In honor of Karlie’s big day, we bring you 5 things you didn’t know about this beauty.
A supermodel, entrepreneur, and philanthropist – what else could a girl ask for? Karlie Kloss was missing one thing in her resume- a partnership with a renowned makeup brand such as Estée Lauder. The long-legged blonde is now the new face of the iconic beauty label. She is joining the Estée family alongside Kendall Jenner, Elizabeth Hurley, Joan Smalls, Carolyn Murphy, Fei Fei Sun, Hilary Rhoda, Misty Copeland and more.
“My entire career, having a beauty contract has been at the top of my bucket list. When I was on an airplane commuting between my life as a high school student in St. Louis and my parallel life as a fashion model in NYC, I would journal about my dreams. I have to find that journal that says, ‘Bucket List: Estée Lauder beauty contract.’ It’s surreal, and I’m really grateful and excited. I actually think beauty and tech sit at this really unique intersection with so much power and opportunity to innovate and be creative. Throughout my own career, I’ve watched the increased emergence of fashion and tech, from the rise of e-commerce and wearable tech to 3D photoshoots. These two worlds will only become more intertwined, which will lead to many more changes and innovations in the industry in the coming years.’- the gorgeous Kloss said.
At only 25, the supermodel is doing everything she can to make the world a better place. Kloss is not only a pretty face, but she’s got plenty of brains. Karlie launched Kode With Klossy, a special program for girls. During the classes, all of the young brainiacs will learn how to code and will be empowered through every step of the experience. With this program, the model wants to stimulate your girls to be leaders and to own their businesses without having to depend on someone else.
Kloss is one of the rare celebrities who is not only invested in always looking beautiful. She is a very successful businesswoman and often takes an important part in movements for female empowerment and equal pay. Karlie’s first campaign for Estée Lauder will drop sometime in July. Until then, the model revealed some of her favorite Estée products to keep you entertained while you wait. Her all-time favorite lipstick is the Envy Lipstick in Insolent Plum. It’s a gorgeous dark purple/plum shade that looks especially flattering on fair skin tones. Her second go-to product is the Double Wear Foundation. The whole advertisement material including pictures, videos and billboards are coming very soon, so brace yourself for another amazing beauty campaign.
Stella McCartney has a lot of things going on these days. After making possibly the biggest power move in her career, she is ready to continue with delivering innovative products and campaigns. The designer just recently announced that she is taking back full control of her brand, which means that she will no longer be in partnership with one of the biggest fashion conglomerates Kering. Back to her creative work, Stella and Adidas previously unveiled the new Parley UltraBOOST X sneakers made of plastic waste from the coastal areas of the Maldives. To promote the new sneaker styles, the designer and the sportswear giant once again tapped supermodel Karlie Kloss.
Karlie fronts the latest Adidas by Stella McCartney campaign where she models the new sneakers as well as other brand new pieces from the designer’s collection for Adidas. In the campaign shots, you can see the gorgeous Kloss sporting vibrant pieces paired with the Parley UltraBOOST X sneakers. The highlights of the Adidas by Stella McCartney collection include multicolored jackets, shirts, and tops you would love to show off at the gym. Karlie models the new offerings while doing a variety of activities which makes this campaign the ultimate blend of style, comfort, and function.
In the campaign, Karlie Kloss shows off a few sneaker styles. There is a colorful textured style that features purple detailing and the Adidas white UltraBOOST sole. Furthermore, Karlie gives a closeup of an insanely chic pastel sneaker with gradient color mix of peachy and pale blue. The Parley UltraBOOST X sneakers feature a new innovative STRETCHWEB technology which allows the shoe to automatically adjust to the ground during any kind of activity. The new sneakers cost $230 and are available to shop at select retailers as well as at Adidas’s online store.
Adidas and Stella McCartney designed the new silhouette as well as the entire collection with sustainability and style in mind. For these sneakers, they partnered up with Parley for the Oceans to use their Parley Ocean Plastic yarn made of plastic waste found in the oceans. The eco-friendly initiative is a step forward for positive change considering the huge problem with plastic waste in the oceans. As Adidas states, they are “Spinning the problem into a solution. The threat into a thread”. Thanks to Stella McCartney, Adidas, and Parley for the Oceans, you can now get active wearing sneakers that reduce waste from the environment.

Atelier Swarovski is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. For Fall 2017, the jewelry brand collaborated with the designer Jason Wu. Karlie Kloss, who is a global ambassador for Swarovski and a good friend of Wu, is the model featured in the ads.
“I designed this collection very much with the Jason Wu woman in mind. She’s strong, sophisticated and sensual ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü even the campaign is quite sensual, which was shot with Karlie Kloss who is a longtime muse and friend of mine.’- Jason Wu told WWD.
The photographer behind the shoots is Barnaby Roper. Edward Enniful, who is the editor in chief of British Vogue, took care of Karlie’s styling for the campaign. The brand already teased one official picture, that shows Kloss wearing an impressive statement necklace. The necklace is bejeweled with green, orange, and yellow crystals, and is a very classy and glamorous piece of jewelry. On her left index finger, you can notice a beautiful ring, also a part of the upcoming collection.
According to WWD, the Fall 2017 collection will feature amazing necklaces, rings, earrings, bracelets and a clutch. The prices for the designs will range between $149 and $2,990. The complete campaign will be released in September in several different fashion magazines. The luxurious pieces of jewelry will be sold this fall in Swarovski’s stores and online on the brand’s website. The exact launch date is still unknown.
This is actually the second time for Wu to design jewelry for Swarovski. The two brands previously teamed up on a collection back in 2010. In 2012, Jason Wu produced a short documentary film that explained the inspiration and the work behind his Resort 2013 line. The Austrian brand fully supported the designer and his movie. Jason is the favorite designer of many popular celebrities and influencers. He is the go-to designer of the ex-first lady Michelle Obama, actresses Julianne Hough, Diane Kruger and many others. At the moment he is the creative director of his own brand and Boss’s women’s department.
Atelier Swarovski has a rich history of collaborations with many innovative designers including Mary Katrantzou, Karl Lagerfeld, Jean Paul Gaultier and more. Recently the brand teamed up with Rosie Assoulin and Fiona Kotur. Karlie Kloss became Swarovski’s ambassador and spokesperson in May 2016. The model replaced her Victoria’s Secret fellow Miranda Kerr.
Karlie Kloss‘ Express 2017 collection was finally showcased to the world during one of the most touching runway shows ever, with every look from the collaboration being, if possible, even more inspirational. Unveiled at St. Louis, home to Kloss herself, last Thursday, the Karlie Kloss x Express collection brought a plethora of must-have fashions on stage, which are all already available for purchase online at Express.com.
Fashion aside, the runway show also gave us a more intimate portrait of Kloss, which will surely help us better understand the model-turned-fashion-designer’s next moves in the industry. “There’s no better place for it ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü there’s no place like home!” she revealed backstage. “All of my friends, family, family friends and teachers, classmates, everybody ‚Äö√Ñ√∂‚àö√ë‚àö√Ü all of St. Louis is coming out tonight, and they’re so proud. I’m so proud to share this with them.”
And her friends, along with her sisters, who currently study at college, were the sources of inspiration behind this Express collaboration, as she designed each one of the pieces keeping their fashion urges in mind while at the same time refining everything with touches of all the things she personally likes.
“I was inspired by my sisters who are in college, and by my friends who are just out of college entering a professional life, and I wanted to create pieces that could be dressed up or dressed down,” Kloss continued backstage. “It’s really a small selection of my favorite things that I can’t live without to help bring those pieces to every girl’s wardrobe.”
While browsing through the collection, we had the impression Kloss had us covered with everything we may need from day to night, indeed, as the line-up consists of a well-built array of must-have essentials to channel all year long. The collection’s jacket line perfectly recalls Kloss’ aim, as it features both tailored double-breasted jackets to wear either during a formal date or a more casual night out, and fancy embroidered bombers to wear with our favorite high street outfit (among which there’s the one with the “optimist’ statement emblazoned on the back we talked about as soon as the collection’s show was confirmed).
Jackets aside, the Karlie Kloss x Express collection treats us to other appealing it-items we bet many will instantly fall in love with. For the night out with friends, Kloss had fun designing glamorous cropped tops, leather skirts and long, slightly boho-chic dresses either with polka dot embellishments or floral patterns. When it comes to spring-approved staples, Kloss unveiled an array of denim staples along with casual crew-neck sweaters, so that we could have something to flawlessly wear on the daily basis, too.
Under these premises, we really hope Kloss will continue collaborating with various companies soon!

When Karlie Kloss became Express’ brand ambassador back in summer 2016, little did we know about the duo’s future plans and that they had a surprise in store for us. Talented Karlie Kloss is, in fact, now designing a fashion line for Express, set do debut on Express.com extremely soon.
About to be revealed with an imposing runway show on Thursday, on March 30th at 8 p.m. ET, Karlie Kloss’ fashion line for Express will bring 10 different yet equally inspiring models on the catwalk, among which a STEM student, a book-club founder, a one-year cancer-free survivor blogger, and a computer engineer are the protagonists, too.
Besides fashion, Karlie Kloss’ collaboration with Express is thus willing to showcase and represent completely different cultural backgrounds on stage, as a way to keep on fighting prejudices, social constructed norms and beauty standards. And it honestly couldn’t be any other way, with Kloss being one of the industry’s most vocal advocates of human rights, equality and empowerment.
Empowering notes aside, the Karlie Kloss x Express collaboration brings in an all-round fashion line indeed, as it makes it possible for us ” future customers to create an abounding amount of different styles and outfits with ‘just’ 17 pieces. As stated on express.com, Kloss’ foray into design consists of “17 styles, 100s ways to wear’, and we bet she didn’t say it lightheartedly, for sure.
Although Kloss, who is more than enthusiastic and thankful for being able to “design clothes for real women who strive to reach higher and dare to do more,” has yet to reveal any details regarding the actual items, Express has revealed a few (well, ‘scarce’ would be a more appropriate term) sneak peeks regarding the collaboration.
From both Express’ website and Instagram account, the Karlie Kloss x Express 2017 collection appears to be inspired not only by empowered women, but also by traveling, wanderlust and coziness, so we do expect a lot of high-end, athleisure-inspired garments here and there as well. There’s also an ad banner that portrays Karlie Kloss wearing a bomber jacket with a sequined ‘optimistic’ embroidered on the back. They really are keeping us hanging with this latest line of theirs!

Cute kittens, supermodels and top-notch quality ensembles combined! Is there anything better to look at? For the Carolina Herrera fall 2016 ad campaign, the house tapped not only models of the moment Karlie Kloss and Lily Aldridge as the campaign’s brand ambassadors, but also little white kittens that are too cute to handle.
Lensed by legendary fashion photographer Mario Testino, who has been busy capturing many fall 2016 ad campaigns this year, the pictures feature male model Garrett Neff too, who will be part of Carolina Herrera’s new digital revolution as well.
Following in the footsteps of many other fashion houses, Carolina Herrera has been renovating itself for a few months now, ever since Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia were appointed as the label’s newest creative directors back in February 2016.
For the first time in Carolina Herrera’s history, the campaign will in fact be launched on digital platforms, starting off (of course) with Instagram. Both Lily Aldridge and Karlie Kloss can count on an impressive amount of followers on their accounts (all together they share more than 9 millions followers), not to mention Mario Testino’s.
Such a marketing strategy comes just in time to celebrate Carolina Herrera’s new enterprise: the launch of the CH Carolina Herrera e-commerce website in October. By putting kittens in the It-item Duke Bag, and by asking Aldridge and Kloss to join the squad and channel some of the collection’s must-have staples, we can fairly state those at Carolina Herrera’s headquarters perfectly captured the whole ‘famous in the Internet’ thing, and we expect the pictures to go quickly viral, for sure.
As of now, we can only count on a few sneak peeks of the campaign, which feature the models showing off the aforementioned Duke bag, a fiery red rounded-neck dress with peplum hems, and what appears to be a black laced dress paired with a sophisticated vivid green scarf. Garrett Neff is also in tune with the campaign’s cuteness, and is shown wearing a navy blue sweater with polka dots.
Known for its feminine silhouettes and delicate, soigné patterns (Carolina Herrera herself is considered to be one of the world’s most sophisticated women), the American Maison proves once again to be perfectly able to elegantly keeping up with the modern world, and we can’t help being extremely curious to see how it is going to mix its renowned legacy with the world’s newest Internet phenomenon.
While waiting for the full campaign, the Carolina Herrera FW 2016-17 ready-to-wear collection is already available on carolinaherrera.com, Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman and Saks Fifth Avenue.

If there is one thing this summer will be remembered for, that’s definitely the incredible amount of athleisure-inspired collaborations famous brands have been overwhelming us with. One of the latest and most anticipated collaborations is the Adidas by Stella McCartney fall 2016 collection, which now finally has an official ambassador: model Karlie Kloss.
Although the appointment of Kloss as the new Adidas by Stella McCartney‘s brand ambassador was made official via Instagram on Monday, the campaign’s previews have already gone viral, with the pieces Karlie Kloss wears instantly appearing in many wishlists.
The young model and coder (she recently launched a coding camp for girls) is no stranger when it comes to promoting a healthier and more athletic lifestyle, which now finds a tres chic interpretation thanks to the Stella McCartney x Adidas fall 2016 proposals.
“It is an honour to be the face of adidas by Stella McCartney. Both iconic brands continuously raise the bar in fashion, fitness and technology. Their collaboration is the perfect intersection of style and function, resulting in a collection that empowers women to feel strong and confident,” declared Kloss in a press release, revealing one of the collaboration’s main themes ” empowerment.
“Karlie is a true Adidas by Stella McCartney woman. She has that unique energy that drives others whether she is in front of the camera or challenging herself in the gym or on the track, all the while expressing her own individual style. I am thrilled to have her as the face of the Fall/Winter 2016 collection, she inspires and empowers a new generation of women to push themselves further in achieving their goals without compromise,’ pointed out Stella McCartney herself.
With staples that boost any woman’s curves and self-confidence, the Adidas by Stella McCartney partnership clearly uses coziness and athletic performances as the collection’s focal points, encouraging both those who already run a healthy lifestyle, and those who are not that athletic, to just feel fierce and happy to work out and love their bodies.
Blending Adidas’ skills when it comes to sportswear, as well as Stella McCartney’s cutting-edge style when it comes to fashion, the line-up does not lack in attitude either. Versatile, covetable and certainly eclectic, the collection features super warm staples, such as pile jacket to show off while trekking, as well as cozy daily pieces, including sports bras and leggings.
The Adidas by Stella McCartney collaboration is comprised of pieces that could be donned either during any daily workout session, or as athleisure-inspired garments when going out with friends.
While, for instance, the short shorts and the Yoga Bamboo style leggings could be regarded as purely gym-inspired, the revisited Adidas Ultra Boot shoes, striped leggings and solid-colored tees could create appealing high and low contrasts when paired with more elegant or even bon-ton pieces.

Is there any chance we could inherit some of Karlie Kloss‘ and Jourdan Dunn‘s initiative and adventurous spirit just by looking at them? The fantastic duo is officially back on the scene for a new Liu Jo campaign, and the results are nothing but stunning.
Models Karlie Kloss and Jourdan Dunn, who are BFF in real life and have nicknamed themselves the Jourlie, have teamed up with the renowned Italian brand for the new Liu Jo fall/winter 2016-17 campaign, right after appearing in the Liu Jo spring 2016 campaign.
We could rightly take Liu Jo Director Global Marketing & Communication Director Christian Sturniolo’s words and make them our own, since they perfectly describe what the duo and the Italian label can make out of a project when working together: “The realization of this campaign has been impeccable, Karlie and Jourdan talk about women, about their unique and spectacular values and their ability to give and want: throw the same message in different ways with their personal point of view in fashion and style’.
While the concept behind the spring 2016 campaign was focusing on a duo that completed each other like yin and yang, this time around the theme is translated to a broader audience, representing all the different personalities a woman may have. Although exuding Liu Jo’s signature femininity and elegance, the fall 2016 campaign focuses on contrasting styles that any woman should be able to channel according to the event she is about to attend, but also the mood she has.
For these reasons, we see Kloss and Dunn wearing the most representative pieces from the F/W 2016-17 Black Label line-up (which is Liu Jo’s primary collection). On the one hand, we see an uber-feminine floral mini dress with a sweetheart neckline and a pair of glam-rock biker boots, while on the other a motorcross-inspired outfit made of a studded biker jacket in a sleek material, and a black, sheer shirt. Nude makeup and super-straight hairstyles complete the looks, adding a rebellious touch to the entire campaign.
It will be also interesting to see Kloss and Dunn’s pictures for the brand’s upcoming campaigns they will represent, namely for the White Label and the Blue Denim collections. Those who are looking for a new pair of form-fitting jeans will be probably interested to know that Karlie Kloss will be sporting Liu Jo’s new jeans styles, the Amazing fit and Bottom Up bi-stretchy.
Captured by photographer Christian MacDonald in London, the Liu Jo fall 2016 campaign makes us impatient to get our hands on the brand’s new pieces!
